Country Fried Steak with Ground Beef Patties (Burger Style) I picked up all my ingredients @target. One thing I did forget, was my hamburger buns! Total without a redcard is $16.55. Add your burger buns and you’ll be at less than $20! Make sure to grab the Market Pantry ones. They are about $1.49 for 8 buns if you want to keep it under $20! Ingredients (feeds 4) Dry Mix - 1 cup of flour - 1 tbsp of baking powder (forgot to mention it on the voice over) - 1 tbsp of onion powder - 1 tbsp of garlic powder - 1u002F2 tsp of salt - 1u002F2 tsp of pepper Wet Mix - 1 to 1 1u002F2 cups of buttermilk - 1 large egg - 1 tbsp of onion powder - 1 tbsp of garlic powder - Sprinkle a little salt and pepper - A few dashes of Tabasco (or your favorite hot sauce) 4, about 1u002F2 thick ground beef patties. Season it lightly with salt and pepper. Depending on how you like your burgers, fry it in about 3u002F4 cups of oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. Mediumu002Fhigh heat. You want to get that beautiful gold brown color and crunchy crust. For the gravy, reserve about 1u002F4 of the oil, throw in about 1u002F3 to 1u002F4 cup of all purpose flour. Make sure to cook your flour then add in your milk. Season it with salt and pepper. Taste it to adjust your flavor.
